WEEK 5 - WEEK 6
The proposal job only lasted for a few days, then I was assigned to help in some translation work where I had to validate the translated report and to ensure that the grammar of the translation was correct. After so long not conversing in Bahasa Melayu, this task was really a challenge and I've learnt many new vocabularies both in Malay and English. These 2 weeks, I also helped in many administrative work such as printing, binding, preparing letters and filing jobs.
Note to self: Besides English, Bahasa Melayu is a very important language especially when dealing with local clients - many reports has to be done in both languages. Therefore, I need to really expand my vocabularies on both languages so much more!
These 2 weeks, I was assigned to 2 different tasks; firstly I helped out a proposal team to do research about credit guarantee companies. My main job was to find out the organization structure of the norms in a credit company and the divisions and functions under each department. After some research work I had to help out in preparing the proposal and I was in charge of the credentials part where I had to compile a list of similar job done by KPMG.
