MY FUTURE PLANS
CAREER PLAN

After my internship, I have a few plan ahead for me, firstly, I would want to complete my degree in Finance and Economics and graduate with at least 3.50 CGPA so that it is easier for me to enter into other firms of my choice.
Then, I will have to complete my 3rd internship as a part of my course requirement before I proceed to any further plans.
During my last internship, I would try to achieve my KPIs there and do my best to get a good evaluation at the end of the period.
After the last internship, I would want to try Graduate Trainee Programs offered by companies such as Nestle, Unilever or Mondelez or even banks. These programs often last for 1 to 2 years and I think it would be a new and different experience from what I can learn from my internship. More importantly, these programs are only offered to new graduates, therefore I should grab this opportunity and try something new. Also in this 1 to 2 years, the company would rotate my job area so I can be exposed to other areas besides what I studied. After the training, I will then decide if I want to continue working for the internal part of the company such as Finance, Marketing, Human Resource which will be part of rotation in the trainee program or move back to the consulting line.
FURTHER DEVELOPMENT REQUIRED
After the internship experience, it is time to figure my current state and determine what I am lack of to reach my goals. It is time to determine what I need to do and improve on to move up the corporate ladder.
As mentioned, I would like to join a graduate trainee program, I would need to improve my knowledge on areas other than my field (such as marketing, human resource and risk management) because I would be rotated to different fields during the program.
After this internship, I will begin reading a lot of business journals as well as business magazines to (1) improve my writing skills and at the same time (2) expand my general knowledge and required knowledge on the industry and the current situation of the economy.
